About abused women
Imagine not feeling safe in your own home, existing on tenterhooks, terrified of causing another outburst from the person you live with. For thousands of women this is a reality.
That’s the first paragraph from a new article about to be published in Woman’s Own. Its essential reading.
"HOW MANY MORE WOMEN HAVE TO DIE? A growing number of people who have experienced domestic abuse are being driven to the unthinkable", by Mishaal Khan, in Woman's Own, 27 July 2026 pic.twitter.com/zwhxrUvyl1

The old story continues. Women beaten up and killed here there and everywhere. It shows no sign of abating. Its a sad state of affairs.
One does not even have to be married or in a partnership to pay the price of being a woman. The very recent case of Ann Widdecombe who suffered a most horrific murder is but one example. Elderly women are subjected to extremely violent deaths. At this moment in time one must overlook Widdecombe’s brand of politics and see this incident for what it was – an untterly horrific murder by an entitled male. Its not even a one off. Its the usual norm. No change in male entitlement, no change in patriarchy, no change in the ways and means that women ought to be killed. And that means what one could call substituted domestic violence – that is, in the absence of a matrimonial victim, any woman will do. These things should be seen for what they are – the classical ways and means of disposing women and it extends far beyond domestic violence. How many times has this happened and how many more times will it happen? And how will society ever begin to address what can only be a horrific male predilection?
The answer is it will happen again and again and again – because men simply do not know when to stop. The stupidity of men knows no bounds.
Its the same for domestic violence etc. Men simply cannot stop. Just as they do not understand the word no, they cannot understand the word stop either.
There’s every urgent need to write a post about this and other murders by men against women but at the moment its a struggle trying to think of a way to present things in a way that truly reflects the matter at hand – and even whether there’s possibly even any sort of positive hope ahead for women.
There’s one thing – the sheer idiocy of it all. Why do men just simply not stop? Its because they can’t. They enjoy it. That has been written about in other posts but in terms of the severity of this most recent attack, its difficult to write about – because there’s every evidence men simply do not want to end their horrific quest of seeking out and eliminating women en masse – and presently despite all the research and findings there seems no real answer to it all.
Update 23rd July 2026 – The following is important for its view on male violence against even those who had unsavoury politics:
I make no secret of the fact that I found Anne Widdecombe’s views abhorrent, nor will I deny that I believe Reform UK incites division and hostility. But did she deserve to have every woman’s worst nightmare happen to her? No. She did not.
